Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all kitchen tools are properly stored and organized.
- Help with basic cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen and dining areas to uphold health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and catering events.
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures diligently to maintain hygiene standards across all operations.
Skills
- Strong understanding of food service environments including restaurants, hotels, or catering operations.
- Knowledge of cleaning protocols specific to commercial kitchens and food handling safety.
- Ability to operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently.
- Basic culinary skills such as food prep or assisting in cooking are a plus.
