Giftware manufacturer is seeking a digital print operator to set up, run and maintain industrial UV printers to print direct to products! This is a very hands on environment.
DESCRIPTION:
Immediate opening for M-F 8-hour shift from 9AM to 5:00PM
JOB DUTIES:
- Print jobs in order of priority, printing requirements and runtime.
- Reviews work orders in detail and understands the entire scope of the job, quantities, finishing operations, due date and production time of job.
- Perform routine maintenance on schedule and according to procedure to promote machine stability and dependability; inform supervisor of equipment problems and place service calls when required
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues
- Monitor stock within production area and initiate timely requests for replenishment
- Monitor the printing process to maintain print quality - Performs in-process QC checks
- Understand the machine capabilities to achieve optimum print quality
- Ensures that the job is set up properly
- Calibrate the digital press at a minimum at the beginning of each shift or in-between jobs
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
-Able to be on your feet most of the day.
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Photoshop experience a plus but not necessary.
- Good vision (details and color accuracy)
- Positive attitude
- Team player
- Able to communicate in English (read, write and speak)
- Able to read and understand production sheet / schedule
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (job input and setup)
- Good work attendance and dependability
Previous printing experience and/or knowledge is a plus!

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
