Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Cleaning and maintaining flooring surfaces including carpet, vinyl, tile, laminate, and hardwood

Performing floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing
-
Operating floor care equipment including buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, and carpet extractors

Performing carpet care, including stain removal and deep extraction cleaning

Completing daily trash removal and maintaining cleanliness in trash rooms and disposal areas

Ensuring safe work practices including proper cord management, chemical handling, and use of wet floor signage

Maintaining clean and hazard-free floors to help prevent resident falls

Assisting Environmental Services with general housekeeping, deep cleaning projects, and facility support tasks

Interacting respectfully with residents, families, and staff to support a positive community environment
Qualifications:

Experience with floor care equipment and commercial cleaning techniques preferred

Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Due to the nature of the work performed by Ascent Living Communities, and that this position works with a vulnerable population, a criminal background check is required
Pay:
$19.29 - $20.50 an hour
