About Us
We are a well-established, high-reputation dermatology practice in the Carson Valley, offering a full spectrum of medical, surgical, and Mohs micrographic services. Our practice is known for clinical excellence, a loyal patient base, and a collaborative, low-turnover team. We are growing and adding a second Physician Assistant to our provider team.
The Opportunity
We are offering a unique, structured entry point for the right candidate — including new PA graduates or PAs looking to transition into dermatology:
- 3-month residency-style shadowing period working directly alongside our physicians and experienced PA, covering medical dermatology, procedural dermatology, and cosmetic fundamentals
- Extensive ongoing mentoring beyond the initial training period, with continued case review, procedural supervision, and skill-building support
- A genuine pathway to full clinical autonomy within a supportive, teaching-oriented environment — no prior dermatology experience required, though it's a plus
What You'll Do (following training)
- Diagnose and manage general and medical dermatology conditions
- Perform skin checks, biopsies, and cryotherapy
- Assist with and eventually perform selected procedural and cosmetic services
- Collaborate closely with our physicians on complex cases
- Build long-term patient relationships within a practice known for its strong patient loyalty and short waitlist turnover
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited PA program; NCCPA certified (or eligible)
- Active or eligible for Nevada PA licensure
- Strong communication skills and genuine interest in dermatology
- Coachable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with a hands-on learning curve
- Prior dermatology or procedural experience welcomed but not required

Pay: $120,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
