Overview
We are a growing, client-focused CPA firm seeking an experienced Senior Auditor to join our Assurance team. Responsibilities
- Lead audit, review, and compilation engagements from planning through completion.
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit strategies.
- Prepare and review workpapers, financial statements, and related disclosures.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants and interns.
- Review staff work and provide constructive coaching.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding engagement status, findings, and recommendations.
- Research and apply accounting and auditing standards.
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately, efficiently, and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, professional service.
- Assist managers and partners with engagement planning, scheduling, and practice development initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Active CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.
- 4-6+ years of recent public accounting audit experience.
- Experience with audits of privately held companies and nonprofit organizations preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CCH Engagement and audit software is a plus.
Pay: $72,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year
