Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Dispatch and Router position is a full-time role that directly supports daily operations. This role is responsible for coordinating service routes, responding to customer requests, troubleshooting customer concerns/issues, supporting field technicians, and ensuring all scheduled services are completed efficiently and accurately.
The work is highly precise in nature and requires a very strong attention to detail. Any output must be extremely high quality, with consistent results. Someone in this role must check and double-check their work. They must also be patient and conscientious, with a commitment to customer service and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on all previous day's emails to confirm routing requests, service needs, and customer concerns have been addressed.
- Route all unassigned recurring services to the appropriate service technicians while focusing on route density and balanced weekly workload distribution.
- Assign and distribute unassigned pickup and delivery stops to available service technicians, maximizing coverage efficiency and minimizing drive time.
- Coordinate service coverage across multiple service areas, including utilizing technicians in surrounding regions when operationally beneficial.
- Respond to customer service emails regarding service requests, scheduling, availability, and general inquiries.
- Answer incoming calls from service technicians and assist in resolving onsite service issues by coordinating with customers or onsite contacts.
- Log all bypass or missed service cases with complete supporting documentation for operational records and follow-up.
- Perform spot checks of routing maps and schedules to identify routing errors, incorrect addresses, or coordination changes that may impact service efficiency.
- Enter weekly route counts and service metrics into spreadsheets for management reporting.
- Input daily KPI (Key Performance Indicator) data from the previous day for operational and management review.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure timely communication between dispatch, customers, drivers, and management teams.
- Assist with additional operational and administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous dispatching, routing, logistics, or transportation coordination experience preferred.
- Verbal Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this role to effectively communicate with our clients and Service Drivers.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with routing software, GPS systems, spreadsheets, and email platforms preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and scheduling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with operations staff and field technicians.
PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS
The position requires sitting at a desk, computer data input, and speaking with customers and Service Drivers over the phone.
· Work hours - Monday – Friday 8-hour shift
