This position is ideal for a proven Branch Manager or an experienced Assistant Branch Manager, Operations Manager, or Sales Leader who is ready to lead a successful branch while continuing to grow professionally.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy electrical distribution branch.
- Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing team across sales, warehouse, and operations.
- Drive branch profitability through sales growth, customer retention, and operational efficiency.
- Build and strengthen relationships with electrical contractors, industrial customers, and commercial accounts.
- Partner with inside and outside sales teams to identify growth opportunities and expand market share.
- Monitor inventory, purchasing, safety, and operational performance to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Establish performance expectations, develop talent, and foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
- Analyze financial and operational metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience within the electrical distribution industry.
- Proven experience managing branch operations, sales, or both.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products, contractor relationships, and wholesale distribution.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop successful teams.
- Experience managing branch profitability, budgets, and operational performance.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused with a passion for building lasting relationships.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
