Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and during remodeling projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting tasks involving pipes, fixtures, and equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, electricians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless installation processes
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations necessary for plumbing projects
Experience
- Proven field experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of plumbing installation and repair techniques
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings related to plumbing systems
- Experience with pipe threading, welding, assembly, remodeling, and general maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing components is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or commercial vehicles is advantageous
- Handyman experience or background in construction site work enhances versatility in this role

Pay: $31.87 - $32.00 per hour
