Launch a Career in Insurance Sales — No Experience Required Ardell Senior Benefits | 1099 Independent Contractor | Georgia (Remote/Hybrid)
About the role:
Ardell Senior Benefits is looking for motivated students and recent grads who want to build real, transferable sales skills while working in a growing, regulated industry. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, which means you're paid on commission rather than a fixed salary — and that commission grows the longer you stay, since Medicare business renews year over year.
You don't need any prior sales or insurance experience. You need to be a fast learner, comfortable talking to people, and willing to put in the work to get licensed.
What you'll learn:
- How to sell in a regulated, compliance-driven industry — a skill set that transfers to almost any professional sales career
- How to build trust and guide people through complex decisions
- How to manage a book of business and warm leads (we generate leads for you — you're not cold calling from zero)
- The fundamentals of insurance, healthcare, and how Medicare works — valuable knowledge whether you stay in this industry or not
What the first 90 days looks like:
- Get licensed (we'll walk you through the process — health/life insurance license + AHIP certification)
- Shadow experienced agents and learn our sales process
- Start working warm leads with support from our team
- Build toward managing your own client base
What we're looking for:
- Strong communicator, comfortable on the phone and building rapport quickly
- Self-motivated — this is commission-based work, so what you put in shows up in what you earn
- Coachable and genuinely interested in learning the business, not just looking for a short-term gig
- Reliable internet/phone setup for remote work
Good to know: This is a 1099 independent contractor role, meaning you're responsible for your own taxes and there's no guaranteed base salary — income is commission-based and grows as your book of business grows. Licensing (health/life insurance license and AHIP certification) is required before you can start selling.
If you're looking for a role where you'll actually learn to sell, not just fetch coffee or shadow silently, we'd like to hear from you.
Apply with your resume and a short note on why you're interested in sales or insurance.
Pay: $1.00 - $80,000.00 per year
