Summary of Major Functions:
The Midwest Outreach Representative will support the efforts of the marketing department in promoting company programs and in developing and maintaining a network of referral sources. Within this specific region, they are responsible for planning and coordinating various community events, identifying and implementing marketing tactics and strategies to achieve organizational objectives, developing and maintaining excellent relationships with a variety of stakeholders
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represents the organization and its programs to inform and educate therapists, dieticians, physicians and the community about the services and programs to encourage referrals.
- Assesses the needs of potential referral sources and identifies new or existing services that can be offered to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business development conversation with the EDCare Management team, outside referral sources and decision makers.
- Participates in and attends public speaking engagements, industry and networking events and meetings to promote EDCare and its services.
- Collaborates with other departments and the team on the development of educational programs offered to clients and prospects.
- Provides training and support to referring entities to include in-services, conference presentations, and individual consultations.
- Represents EDCare at conferences and seminars on a local, territory and national basis.
- Follows up on questions and areas of interest and concern expressed by the community providers, patients and referral sources.
- Develops and maintains a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face meetings, direct mail, email and networking.
- Maintain monthly activity levels, KPIs, and goals identified by the Director of Outreach.
- Maintains Salesforce database and timley activity records, including outreach efforts, new contact enteries and prospecting activities.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures, business ethics codes.

Physical Demands and Environment:
Sitting, standing, walking, talking frequently, hearing frequently, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands occasionally, crouching occasionally and using fingers intricately. This position requires lifting/carrying up to 30+ pounds occasionally.
This position will require frequent travel which will result in lifting, carrying, walking and navigating both car and airplane travel.
Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to:
99% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a medical office environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two to three years Outreach or Sales expierence in a medical/behavioral health environment preferred.
- Proven ability to achieve sales or occupancy targets required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Self-directed with demonstrated ability to work independently using good judgment and analytical thinking while being able to work as part of a dynamic team required.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and the ability to travel with overnight stays required.
