Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, technical or college-level training in maintenance trades, and two (2) years of utilities and infrastructure maintenance experience.
Licenses or Certifications:
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Crew Supervisor assigned to Construction or Leak Crew must hold a Water or Sewer Class D Operator’s License, a CDL-A with required endorsements, and two (2) years of heavy equipment operating experience, and must obtain a Class C License within two (2) years.
Crew Supervisor assigned to Pump Station Maintenance must hold a Water or Sewer Class D Operator’s License, have two (2) years of pump station operational experience, and be able to obtain a Class C License within two (2) years.
Crew Supervisor assigned to Streets requires a valid Commercial Driver's License Class A (CDL-A) with appropriate endorsement and two (2) years roadway maintenance, repair, and equipment operation experience.
Crew Supervisor assigned to Stormwater requires a Certified Erosion Prevention and Sedimentation Control Inspector (CEPSCI) certification and a valid Commercial Driver's License Class B (CDL-B) with appropriate endorsement and two (2) years of underground utility system inspection/maintenance experience.
Crew Supervisor assigned to Vactor and CCTVmust hold a Water or Sewer Class D Operator’s License, a CDL-B with Tanker endorsement, and two (2) years of underground utility inspection or maintenance experience, and must obtain a Class C License within two (2) years.
Crew Supervisor assigned to Water or Meter Maintenance must hold a Water or Sewer Class D Operator’s License, have two (2) years of relevant maintenance or inspection experience, and be able to obtain a Class C License within two (2) years.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is sedentary work. The employee is occasionally required to exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. Additionally, it requires balancing, crouching, feeling, grasping, handling, hearing voices and distinguishing among sounds, lifting, manual dexterity, mental acuity, pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, expressing ideas by the spoken word and shouting to be heard above ambient noise, visual acuity in data/color/observations/operating equipment, and walking. Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed outdoors where performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odor, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, toxic agents, or disease. Work is performed in an environment with heavy equipment and machinery that could result in bodily harm to co-workers or others.
