Duties
- Safely operate a forklift, transporting goods within the warehouse
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing deliveries in accordance with company standards
- Assist with warehouse management system (WMS) data entry for inventory tracking,
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing materials handling activities efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions, improve workflow processes, and maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts.
- Experience in a extremely busy transit warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations relevant to forklift operation and materials handling procedures
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, , or warehouse distribution roles preferred
- Warehouse supervision experience is a plus for candidates interested in advancing into leadership roles
