UNIQUE SKILLS & CHARACTERISTICS:
AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLER with background in connecting or troubleshooting infrastructure, hardware, or consumer electronics.
2+ YEAR CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE installing FFE, electrical or low voltage control systems
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE in media, pro audio, record production, IT, network, lighting, high voltage electrical, and/or mechanical systems.
CONTINUOUSLY EDUCATED College, High School, Social Clubs, CTS, Crestron, Lutron, CEDIA, or InfoComm Certified.
GENERAL INFO:
ASSIST TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT in the hardware installation of low voltage control systems including lighting, shades, AV/IT and security.
WORKING INSTALLER POSITION that requires learning and team building skills.
COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE and communication skills.
IDEAL APPLICANT has strong attitude and passion for technology and construction.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to follow direction and scope of work.
Ability to use and operate basic power tools.
Ability to comply and communicate by Simple Smart processes and job site safety.
Proficient in MacOS and iOS mobile devices.
Ability to read product manuals and understand construction drawings.
Ability to work with specialist trades and subcontractors.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
OSHA 10 Certification or higher.
BIG 5 ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- IDENTIFY, LABEL & LOOM all critical connections and cabling to maintain proper strain relief, bend radius, and superb wire management.
- TONE, TERMINATE & TEST low voltage infrastructure wiring and cabling.
- INSTALL EQUIPMENT DEVICES integral to system and to Simple Smart drawings and documentation.
- MANAGE EXCELLENT INVENTORY, tool bags, stock materials, and project materials and devices including warranty documentation, and project manuals.
- DOCUMENT, COMMUNICATE & RECOGNIZE project pics, site progress, and field conditions.
