OBJECTIVE: This position is responsible for driving profitable sales growth, expanding market presence, and strengthening distributor and key account execution for the R.S. Lipman Brewing family of brands, including Hap & Harry’s, Honky Tonk, I Believe Brewing, Little Harpeth, Turtle Anarchy, and Yazoo Brewing Companies. The role leads market-level sales planning, brand programming, distributor engagement, and account development across all trade channels to achieve volume, distribution, and revenue goals.
Sales Leadership Responsibilities:
- Partner with the GM of R.S. Lipman Brewing to develop sales forecasts, market priorities, and brand programs that support agreed-upon volume, distribution, and revenue goals by package, draft, channel, and market.
- Lead and support market representatives in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama by setting clear sales priorities, building distributor plans, tracking progress against goals, and coaching execution in the field.
- Collaborate with brewing, marketing, and leadership teams to translate product innovation and brand priorities into effective sales stories, launch plans, and customer-facing programs.
Sales Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute distributor programming that drives case volume, draft placements, new item distribution, feature activity, and account-level activation.
- Build selling tools with graphics and marketing teams, including sell sheets, launch materials, seasonal programming, and a brand release calendar that supports distributor and retailer engagement.
- Communicate new product launches, pricing, item numbers, availability, selling points, and programming details to the sales force and distributor partners in a timely and actionable manner.
- Develop strong, “preferred vendor” relationships with assigned key accounts and distributor leadership across all channels of trade and selling markets.
- Identify and secure opportunities for displays, menu placements, draft handles, features, samplings, events, and other account activations that grow brand visibility and velocity.
- Maintain regular field presence through sales calls, distributor work-withs, key account visits, and market reviews to evaluate execution and uncover growth opportunities.
- This position will include 6–8 days a month of travel across East Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama to support distributor execution, key account development, and market growth initiatives.
Sales Planning and Business Development:
- Create and present business reviews, launch plans, and go-to-market strategies that align supplier objectives with distributor and retailer opportunities across all channels.
- Communicate brand goals, sales priorities, specialty product opportunities, and promotional programs clearly and consistently to internal teams, distributor partners, and key accounts.
- Analyze sales reports, market trends, distribution gaps, and account performance to identify opportunities for incremental volume, improved velocity, and stronger portfolio execution.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing people.
- Working Industry Knowledge
- Strong leadership and consensus building skills.
- Must be a self-starter and highly organized.
- Must be able to solve problems and trouble shoot when needed.
- Computer skills: Literacy with Microsoft Office, Windows based computer applications, and web-based applications.
- Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creativity.
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
