Responsibilities
- Operate a flat plate digital radiography to produce detailed images for diagnosis.
- Collaborate with physicians to perform diagnostic evaluations, ensuring images meet quality standards for accurate interpretation.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and technical parameters to support medical documentation and future reference.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to radiation exposure and patient confidentiality while operating equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Radiography.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles essential for accurate image acquisition and interpretation support.
- Prior experience working in urgent care settings or emergency rooms is highly desirable; experience at other orthopaedic centers is a significant advantage.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, radiologists, nurses, and emergency personnel.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT certification preferred) or equivalent licensure required.
