We are looking for a skilled Construction Round Bottom Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely driving and operating round bottom construction equipment on various project sites. This role requires proficiency in maneuvering heavy machinery and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently while following safety regulations and site protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate round bottom construction vehicles/equipment, including dump trucks, graders, or specialized machinery for construction purposes.
- Drive equipment to and from construction sites as needed.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained, conducting basic inspections before and after use.
- Work closely with construction teams to transport materials to designated areas on site.
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations when operating machinery on-site.
- Load and unload construction materials, ensuring safe handling and placement.
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate site logistics and movements.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, transportation logs, and deliveries.
- Perform minor troubleshooting or notify maintenance personnel of any issues with the equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations related to driving and construction equipment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in driving and operating construction vehicles, particularly round bottom machinery (e.g., dump trucks, graders, or similar).
- Knowledge of construction site safety and vehicle operation protocols.
- Ability to maneuver large equipment in tight or confined spaces safely.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills to interact with Safety Director, and other construction workers.
- Physical ability to handle the demands of operating heavy machinery for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience driving round bottom or similar construction vehicles.
- Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of heavy construction equipment
