As an Inspection - QC II, you will play a critical role in ensuring that products, components, and assemblies meet quality, engineering, and customer requirements. You will support manufacturing operations by performing inspections, identifying non-conformances, and driving quality excellence across the production process.
In this role, you will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to maintain product integrity, support continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthen quality culture. Your expertise in inspection techniques, technical documentation, and quality systems will contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality products to our customers.
As an Inspection - QC II, you will be responsible for:
Performing visual, dimensional, and quality inspections on parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
Inspecting flexible pipe systems, fittings, and components using approved inspection methods and procedures.
Reviewing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, quality plans, and manufacturing documentation.
Utilizing monitoring and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and Pi tapes, to verify product conformity.
Identifying defects and initiating non-conformance reports for products that do not meet specified requirements.
Supporting corrective and preventive actions by documenting recurring quality issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
Verifying the completeness of manufacturing operations, inspection activities, and associated quality records.
Maintaining inspection records, inspection logs, and calibration records for testing, measurement, monitoring, and detection equipment.
Working with Baker Hughes quality management systems and databases, including SAP, Oracle, BHOS, Agility, and other related applications.
Performing specialized testing activities and verifying test results for components and completed assemblies as required.
Participating in quality audits, root cause investigations, material review boards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve production quality issues and enhance operational performance.
Driving a strong quality culture throughout the facility by promoting compliance with quality standards and procedures.
Supporting competency development programs and maintaining compliance with established quality management requirements.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
Have experience in a Quality Inspection, Quality Technician, or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
Have the ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical procedures.
Have experience performing visual and dimensional inspections of products and components.
Have knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and Pi tapes.
Have experience identifying defects, documenting findings, and managing non-conformance reporting processes.
Have familiarity with quality management systems and databases such as SAP, Oracle, BHOS, or similar systems.
Have strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
Have experience maintaining inspection documentation, quality records, and calibration records.
Have strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure compliance with quality and customer requirements.
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
Have a commitment to continuous improvement, quality excellence, and safe work practices.
