Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, food stations, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support efficient service
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines, toasters, and warming stations
- Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace and processing cash transactions using POS systems
- Ensure compliance with food safety management protocols and food handling regulations at all times
- Provide exceptional in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs or special requests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fine dining or food service environments preferred; hospitality or catering experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety sanitizing procedures essential for maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; barista experience or culinary background is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that enhances guest experiences
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems and handling food industry standards related to food safety and serving practices
- Experience with dietary accommodations or dietary aide roles is beneficial; ability to handle weight in the workplace responsibly
