We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement for medical services provided.
Duties - Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding - Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies - Follow up on unpaid claims - Investigating and resolving denied or rejected claims - Posting Insurance Payments - Maintain patient billing records - A strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD-10 codes and CPT codes- Handle medical collections when necessary - Work in a medical office setting to process billing
Skills: - Proficiency in medical billing procedures - Knowledge of medical terminology - Familiarity with ICD-10 codes and CPT codes - Experience with medical records management
Nice-to-Have Skills: - Previous experience in medical billing and payment posting - Familiarity with NexTech software - Strong understanding of medical office operations.
