Gatehouse Transportation is seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and customer-service-minded Shuttle Transportation Driver to join our team in Downtown Cincinnati.
As a Shuttle Transportation Driver, you will play an important role in ensuring passengers arrive at their destinations safely, comfortably, and on time. You’ll be more than a driver—you’ll be a trusted guide, safety ambassador, and friendly face who helps create a positive experience for every passenger.

Schedule & Pay
- Monday – Friday
- 12:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. (32.5 hours per week) or 2:30p-10:30p (40 Hours Per Week)
- $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
- Downtown Cincinnati location
What You'll Do
- Safely operate a shuttle vehicle, including vans, buses, or motor coaches, between designated locations according to established routes and schedules.
- Greet passengers warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Assist passengers with luggage and provide clear information regarding routes, schedules, and destinations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional-looking vehicle inside and out.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Promptly report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all traffic laws, FMCSA requirements, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel usage, and passenger counts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
- Support a smooth, dependable, and positive passenger experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Class B CDL with Passenger (P) endorsement required.
- Previous professional driving experience preferred, particularly passenger transportation.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and safety-conscious in changing traffic and weather conditions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance.
- Ability to assist passengers with luggage and frequently enter and exit the vehicle.
- Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the transportation team.
- A safety-first mindset and commitment to providing dependable transportation.
Education & Training
- Completion of required FMCSA regulations training, including one-time two-hour training.
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preferably in passenger transportation.
- 3–5 years of experience working in a start-up or developing operation environment preferred.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
The Shuttle Transportation Driver may frequently be required to:
- Sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear.
- Enter and exit the shuttle vehicle frequently.
- Assist passengers with luggage.
- Occasionally stoop, bend, reach above the shoulders, or lift over 100 pounds.
- Climb a ladder when necessary.
- Meet required vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
