May's Lawn Care, LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated full-time Fertilizer and Spray Applicator. Candidates with golf course experience and tractor operation skills are preferred.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage turf care by applying pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, and fertilizers to client properties.
- Identify weeds, diseases, and insects.
- Seed lawns as needed.
- Be knowledgeable about proper mowing techniques and leaf removal.
- Carry out various turf management and landscaping duties.
Requirements MUST HAVE:
- VDACS Commercial Pesticide Applicator License and Certified Fertilizer Applicator Certificate.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Experience with stand-on fertilizer spreaders and compact tractors.
- Additional experience with zero-turn mowers and leaf removal equipment is a plus.
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions, including on short notice.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Professionalism and respect towards clients and their properties.
