The Manger, Facilities & Fleet Operations is responsible for the end-to-end management of physical assets across a large operating company, including facilities, fleet, and construction projects. This role ensures that buildings, infrastructure, and fleet assets are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with operational needs, while managing third-party providers and capital investments to support business growth and continuity.
Primary Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance, repair, and performance of all facility systems (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, dock equipment, building infrastructure).

Ensure facilities operate in compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Lead preventive maintenance programs to maximize asset reliability and minimize downtime.

Partner with operations leadership to ensure facilities support efficient site operations and capacity needs.

Provide oversight of fleet operations, including vehicle availability, maintenance, and utilization.

Manage and monitor third-party fleet providers (e.g., leasing, maintenance, logistics partners), ensuring service levels, cost efficiency, and compliance.

Ensure adherence to all fleet-related regulations and safety standards, including inspections and asset lifecycle requirements.

Analyze fleet performance and drive improvements in efficiency, cost, and reliability.

Lead construction, expansion, and major capital projects across the OpCo, including new builds, site renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Manage project scope, timelines, and budgets, ensuring delivery against business requirements.

Oversee external contractors, engineers, and vendors to ensure quality execution and cost control.
- Partner with finance and operations to prioritize and execute capital investment plans.

Manage relationships with external service providers across facilities, fleet, and construction.

Establish performance expectations, monitor service delivery, and enforce contractual standards.

Identify and implement cost optimization opportunities through vendor strategy and consolidation.

Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facilities and fleet operations.

Lead programs supporting workplace safety, environmental compliance, and risk mitigation.

Monitor and manage risk exposures, implementing corrective actions as needed.

Develop and manage operating and capital budgets for facilities, fleet, and construction.

Track performance against budget, identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency.

Evaluate financial impact of operational decisions, including maintenance strategies and capital investments.

Serve as the primary point of coordination between operations, finance, safety, and external vendors for asset-related activities.

Align facilities, fleet, and construction strategies with OpCo business objectives and growth plans.

Provide guidance and leadership to internal teams and contractors to ensure consistent execution of standards.

Full Bilingual - English and Spanish (Required)

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (Required)

Advanced degree (MBA or relevant discipline) preferred

5+ years of experience in facilities management, fleet operations, construction management, or related operational leadership roles

Experience overseeing large-scale operations

Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors and capital projects

Strong operational leadership across fixed and mobile asset management

Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and capital investments

Ability to manage complex, cross-functional operations in a decentralized environment
