American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with a minimum of 2 years of experience and required ARRT, RDMS, and RVT certifications for an evening shift contract covering outpatient and ED settings.

Covers both outpatient and ED sonography settings

Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
-
Ultrasound scope includes general, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, small parts, and carotid vascular imaging
-
Vascular experience includes Doppler studies and upper/lower extremity arterial studies
-
Uses Siemens and Acuson ultrasound equipment, PACS, and portable ultrasound
-
Epic EMR is used; experience is mandatory

Schedule is 4x9.5-hour evening shifts, Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 1:30 AM

13-week contract

Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required

ARRT certification required

RDMS with AB and OB credentials required

RVT certification required

Proficiency with Siemens and Acuson ultrasound equipment required

Epic EMR experience required

Must be able to work with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

License required if applicable

Works independently in the ultrasound department with access to a radiologist by phone when urgently needed

Expected to assist with patient transport and support other modalities when ultrasound volume is low, as the department operates as a team

All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed and candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
