What You’ll Do
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the successful execution of our projects—leading teams, shaping strategy, and ensuring top-tier performance at every stage.
Leadership & Team Development
- Assign Project Managers to projects based on expertise and workload to maximize success
- Provide guidance, resources, and critical project information to set teams up for excellence
- Lead comprehensive project start-up and turnover processes
Client & Relationship Management
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and partners
- Represent H.T. Lyons at job meetings and serve as a trusted advisor
- Drive repeat business opportunities and long-term customer loyalty
Project Execution & Oversight
- Develop and execute detailed construction plans for major projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Monitor progress, proactively address challenges, and manage project risks
Financial & Operational Performance
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections
- Negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and change orders to protect profitability
- Oversee purchasing of materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
- Ensure accurate and timely progress billings and cash flow tracking
Technical Excellence & Innovation
- Contribute to design-build efforts with expertise in HVAC, piping, plumbing, or sheet metal
- Continuously evaluate project designs to improve efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction
- Identify and resolve construction challenges before they impact performance
Quality & Profitability
- Maintain or improve gross profit margins across all projects
- Safeguard equipment, materials, and completed work on-site
- Conduct in-depth project reviews, analyzing logs, schedules, and financial performance
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 7–10 years of Project Management experience in construction (HVAC strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex projects successfully
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of project budgets and forecasting
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
- A client-first mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding results

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
