Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Licensed TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) Electrician to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing expert electrical services across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and electrical codes. The ideal candidate will be a licensed electrician with extensive experience in industrial, commercial, and renovation projects, ready to travel and deliver top-quality electrical solutions on diverse construction sites. Duties
- Travel between designated project sites to perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise electrical work.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Work on construction sites involving renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general construction tasks requiring electrical expertise.
- Set up programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for industrial automation systems and troubleshoot industrial electrician issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC regulations, safety protocols, and local building codes while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Valid TDLR electrician license with the ability to travel across multiple locations within the specified region.
- Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of NEC standards, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting industrial control systems including PLCs.
- Familiarity with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or new installations on construction sites.
- Strong handyman skills including framing carpentry or general construction knowledge are a plus.
