We are seeking a versatile and dynamic individual to join our team as a Preschool Floater. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to our classrooms, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children, and promoting positive interactions between students and teachers. As a floater, you will work with multiple classrooms and be a key member of our team.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to teachers in all classrooms, including assisting with activities, managing transitions, and supervising play.

Ensure a safe and engaging environment for children by monitoring their activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to incidents promptly.

Promote positive interactions between students and teachers by encouraging cooperation and resolving conflicts.

Assist with meal and snack preparation and serve food to students.

Support the set-up and clean-up of activities and classroom materials.

Assist with the preparation of materials and supplies for activities and lessons.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, including organizing and cleaning toys, supplies, and equipment.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.

Experience working in a preschool or early childhood education setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.

Ability to observe and respond to the needs of children in a nurturing and supportive manner.

First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
