Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform routine property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R equipment to ensure continuous operation and compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct system inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
- Repair or replace components such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, and piping—covering plumbing and ammonia refrigeration systems when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs performed for accountability and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing, mechanical systems, and appliance repair.
- Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and other testing equipment effectively.
- Construction experience or familiarity with property maintenance is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on field service experience in HVAC/R environments.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
