We are seeking a passionate and skilled Experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed during preparation and service
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of quality
- Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, dicing, and other food prep tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a line cook or similar culinary role in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment usage
- Experience working in fine dining settings is highly desirable
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Ability to plan menus and execute meal preparation efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent knife skills with attention to detail in food presentation
- Previous experience in catering or large-scale meal service preferred
