Job Description
The Thrift Boutique is looking for a hardworking, dependable, and energetic Back of House Team Member to join our growing team. This role is essential to keeping our store organized, clean, and fully stocked with quality merchandise.
As part of our processing team, you will help accept and sort donations, inspect and prepare items for the sales floor, assist with pricing, and support daily backroom operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and donors in a friendly and professional manner
- Accept and organize incoming donations
- Sort clothing and household items by category, quality, and condition
- Inspect items for stains, damage, odors, and overall quality
- Clean, prepare, and organize merchandise for the sales floor
- Price clothing and other donated items accurately
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist team members with daily operational tasks and backroom support
- Help move inventory and merchandise as needed
- Follow company standards for quality control and organization
Requirements
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move bags, bins, and boxes of donations
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
