Job Summary
The Program Manager provides leadership, oversight, and coordination for assigned programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while serving as a key representative of Self Determined Futures, LLC within the Riverside community. This role ensures services are delivered with excellence, compliance, and a person-centered focus while fostering community partnerships, increasing program awareness, and supporting the organization's marketing and outreach initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about developing staff, building relationships, promoting community engagement, and ensuring exceptional services for individuals and families.
Duties
Program Leadership & Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of assigned programs, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with Regional Center, DDS, and organizational requirements.
- Supervise, mentor, train, coach, and evaluate program staff.
- Monitor staff productivity, documentation, billing, and overall program performance.
- Ensure participant services remain person-centered and consistent with Individual Program Plans (IPPs) and organizational standards.
- Provide guidance and support regarding case management, crisis intervention, problem-solving, and service coordination.
- Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve program quality, efficiency, and participant outcomes.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational growth, strategic initiatives, and new program development.
Community Outreach & Partnership Development
- Represent Self Determined Futures, LLC at community events, resource fairs, networking meetings, Regional Center events, employer meetings, and professional conferences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Regional Centers, schools, healthcare providers, nonprofit organizations, employers, and other community partners.
- Promote the organization's services and programs to increase community awareness and referrals.
- Identify opportunities to establish new partnerships and expand the organization's presence throughout Riverside County.
- Coordinate outreach campaigns, educational presentations, and community engagement initiatives.
- Track outreach efforts, referral sources, and community engagement activities.
- Serve as a positive ambassador for Self Determined Futures, LLC within the community.
Marketing & Communications
- Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies that increase community awareness and program growth.
- Manage and contribute content for the company's social media platforms.
- Create marketing materials including brochures, flyers, newsletters, presentations, banners, promotional items, and event materials.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing efforts.
- Assist with website updates, company announcements, success stories, and promotion of events, trainings, and new programs.
- Monitor marketing trends and recommend innovative strategies to strengthen community engagement and visibility.
Participant & Community Relations
- Serve as the primary liaison with Regional Centers, participants, families, referral sources, and community partners.
- Build and maintain positive relationships while ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Assist with participant concerns, service issues, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure participants receive high-quality, coordinated services.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate program records, reports, and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports related to program performance, outreach activities, marketing initiatives, and organizational goals.
- Participate in leadership meetings, strategic planning, and organizational initiatives.
- Complete additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Human Services, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience in human services.
- Strong knowledge of Regional Center services, person-centered practices, service coordination, and programs supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Experience in community outreach, partnership development, marketing, or public relations preferred.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating marketing materials is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing organizational needs.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms preferred.
- Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance required.

Pay: From $74,880.00 per year
