Assistant Toddler Teacher/Caregiver (Ages 2–3) – Full-Time

Are you passionate about working with young children? Do you enjoy helping toddlers learn, grow, and reach important developmental milestones? We are looking for a caring, energetic, and dependable Toddler Teacher/Caregiver to join our early childhood education team.
This full-time position works alongside an experienced Lead Teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for up to 14 children ages 2–3 years.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and their families.
- Engage children in play-based learning experiences that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Feed children and encourage healthy eating habits.
- Complete daily charts and documentation, including meals, diapering, toileting, and activities.
- Change diapers and support children through potty training with patience and encouragement.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with fellow teachers to provide exceptional care and education.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
- A genuine love for working with toddlers.
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and a team player.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and actively engage with children throughout the day.
- Must meet all state licensing requirements for employment in a child care center.
