Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deck / Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality decks and siding on residential and commercial properties, ensuring durability, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and install various siding materials including vinyl, fiber cement, wood, and metal siding using hand tools and power tools
- Install decks using framing carpentry techniques, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards
- Use ladders, scaffolding, and safety harnesses appropriately while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations
- Perform roofing repairs or installations as needed, including metal roofing and single-ply membrane roofing systems
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, stucco finishing, and masonry skills to enhance the overall quality of the project
- Follow detailed blueprints and schematics to ensure precise installation aligned with client specifications
- Conduct heavy lifting safely when handling materials such as lumber, siding panels, or roofing components during outdoor work
Qualifications
- Proven construction experience with a focus on siding installation or deck building; familiarity with roofing repair and restoration is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power tools (drills, nail guns) safely and effectively
- Experience working on construction sites outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomic practices
- Strong understanding of construction safety protocols including harness use, ladder safety, and adherence to workplace regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
