Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across our facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise housekeeping staff, ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and deliver exceptional service to our guests or clients. Your leadership will inspire a team dedicated to creating a pristine, welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse cleaning tasks, from routine custodial duties to specialized industrial and commercial cleaning projects, all while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
This role is part time and includes covering the Housekeeping Manager's off days.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, assigning rooms to housekeepers, ensuring all areas are cleaned efficiently and thoroughly according to established standards
- Lead, motivate, and evaluate cleaning staff, providing training on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Oversee the execution of industrial and commercial cleaning projects, including specialized tasks such as deep cleans or high-touch sanitation efforts
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and ensure proper storage practices are followed
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas to uphold cleanliness standards and address any deficiencies promptly
- Foster excellent communication within the team and with other departments to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality housekeeping management with a focus on team supervision
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, safety regulations, and management of cleaning & sanitation processes
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff in industrial or commercial cleaning environments
- Excellent managerial communication skills for training staff, delegating tasks, and maintaining team cohesion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Experience with laundry services or hospitality-related housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties that may require standing for long periods, lifting supplies, or operating cleaning equipment

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
