American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer for a 26-week travel assignment in Hawaii, requiring a minimum of 3 years of acute hospital experience and RDCS or equivalent certification.

Acute care hospital imaging department setting

Specializes in adult echocardiography including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease and effusions, 2D & 3D TEEs, and hypertensive heart disease studies

Equipment includes Canon i700 and i900 ultrasound systems

Variable shift schedule with a 40-hour work week

On-call responsibilities required as appropriate

Floating to other departments required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting

ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI certification required

Active AHA BLS required

Proficiency in adult echocardiography including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, effusions, 2D & 3D TEEs, and hypertensive heart disease studies

Epic EMR experience preferred

State license required if applicable

Pediatric echocardiography experience is a plus but not required

All travelers must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of their assignment; this appointment is held on-site and must be attended in person — plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start date to attend the Friday morning Employee Health appointment
