Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our nurturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to supporting the developmental needs of young learners.
Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as language, social skills, and motor skills.
- Educate children through play-based activities, ensuring they are engaged and excited about learning.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and developmental stages.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes health and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Experience
- A background in Early Childhood Education or related fields is preferred.
- Experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or as a nanny is highly valued.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, special education practices, infant care, toddler care, and preschool education is beneficial.
- Previous experience in babysitting or working with children of various age groups will be considered an asset.
