Smarty Pants Kids Academy is looking for a caring, dependable COOK to join our team! If you enjoy cooking, staying organized, and making a positive difference in children's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook nutritious, well-balanced breakfasts, lunches, and snacks for children.
- Follow USDA and Texas Child Care Licensing meal guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen & entrance area.
- Practice proper food handling, sanitation, and food storage procedures.
- Keep accurate meal counts and required documentation.
- Work collaboratively with staff to support the health and well-being of our children.
Requirements
- Food service or cooking experience (preferred)
- Experience preparing meals for large groups (preferred)
- Comfortable using basic technology (we'll train you!)
- Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Must pass all required background checks.
