Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a federal government program as a subcontractor. This role serves as a key liaison between safety and occupational health stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership.
The successful candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, support the implementation and enhancement of Salesforce-based case management solutions, and help modernize the program’s analytics and reporting capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives involving data analytics, AI-enabled reporting tools, and safety program modernization.
This is an ideal role for a Business Analyst who enjoys working directly with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements, and driving process improvement through data and technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with safety, occupational health, and operational stakeholders to understand business processes, reporting needs, and performance metrics.
- Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and reporting requirements.
- Translate stakeholder needs into user stories, process flows, data requirements, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of Salesforce-based case management capabilities.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and program leadership to deliver system enhancements and analytics solutions.
- Assist with modernization of existing reporting and dashboard environments, including migration to next-generation analytics platforms.
- Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Support testing activities, including development and execution of test cases, validation of requirements, and user acceptance testing.
- Monitor data quality and help ensure consistency across multiple systems and data sources.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements.
- Experience working directly with stakeholders and facilitating requirements discussions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts.
- Experience supporting software implementations, system enhancements, or business process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote subcontractor environment.
- Ability to successfully complete a federal background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Case Management, Service Cloud, or Salesforce business analysis.
- Experience developing user stories and supporting Agile software development teams.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience using Python, R, or similar tools for data analysis.
- Experience supporting federal government, DoD, public health, safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, medical, or regulatory programs.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled analytics, predictive analytics, machine learning, or conversational reporting tools.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
