At New Horizons, our team supports individuals with disabilities in building independence, confidence, and connection in their daily lives. We’re currently hiring Direct Support Professionals to join our programs across Oakland County.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, building relationships, and helping others reach their goals—whether that’s learning a new skill, getting involved in the community, or navigating everyday routines.
A Day in This Role Might Include:
- Working with individuals to support personal goals and daily routines
- Assisting with community outings such as shopping, volunteering, or social events
- Providing guidance with life skills like communication, organization, and self-advocacy
- Safely transporting individuals to activities and their jobs
- Documenting progress and maintaining clear, timely records
- Creating a positive and respectful environment where individuals feel supported and valued

Basic Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness to assist with personal care when needed
