Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Autobody Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of hands on automotive body repair tasks, such as vehicle teardown, part replacement, reassembly, and surface preparation. This role involves sanding, masking, and preparing bumpers and panels for refinishing, as well as assisting with structural and cosmetic repairs. The helper works closely with other employees to ensure high-quality workmanship, efficiency, and safety standards are met throughout the repair process. Pay is negotiable per experience. Qualifications:
- Experience in auto body repair, collision repair, or general automotive labor preferred
- Ability to safely disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts and components
- Knowledge of sanding, surface prep, masking, and basic refinishing procedures
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor
- Mechanical experience preferred
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs
