Job Summary
Complete Quality is seeking for dedicated Loader, Unloader, and Material Handlers to provide contract-based warehouse support services for our Ceva warehouse (Furniture) located in Groveport, OH. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and unloading materials, managing inventory movement, and ensuring the safe handling of goods throughout the warehouse. Manually unloading/ moving boxed furniture that weigh 60lbs -75 lbs. with a dolly stacking and organizing boxes for drivers to take. Other duties may also be assigned, including labeling, re-labeling, maintaining a clean and safe work environment and performing other related tasks as needed.
Compensation: Approx. $800 - $1000 Weekly (per production) | Paid weekly via 1099
Schedule hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. or until finish, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and condition.
- Handle materials with care during transfer, stacking, and storage to prevent damage or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within warehouse management systems (WMS) and perform regular stock counts.
- Support warehouse distribution tasks by organizing materials efficiently for easy access and retrieval.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to prioritize tasks such as load & unload operations and order picking.
- Conduct routine mechanical inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, mechanical operation, and materials handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or materials handling roles.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picker technology.
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments.
- Experience with heavy lifting techniques and proper ergonomic practices.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management.
- Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Construction or industrial background is advantageous for understanding heavy equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
