Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team for the Army National Guard. As an integral part of the National Guard Conference Policy process, the NGB-ES Conference Management Branch is responsible for providing guidance and ensuring event request packages for Army, Air Force, and Joint Staff attended events are complete and in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) and National Guard (NG) DoD
Job Tasks
·· Prepare Event Request Packets shall be prepared in accordance with the main guidance located in the Chief of the NGB Instruction (CNGBI 8100.01A, dated 23 June 2025
· Assist in conducting market research to include cost data and site location surveys.
· Coordinate logistical support required for conference to include audio visual, meeting space requirement, attendee lodging, transportation, and notify the Security Office (for classified events) if required.
· Review and edit correspondence, grammatical content and formatting in accordance with the DoD, DA, NGB and ARNG policies, guidance and regulations required to complete taskers, and upload/download documents within ETMS or current system of record.
· Track and monitor the status of all conference packages from action officers within the installation(s) and throughout the 54 States, Territories, and District of Columbia. Maintain communication with all action offices until completion of events.
· Receive, compile, track and monitor the status of all Conference Request Packages from action officers within the installation and throughout the 54 States, Territories and District of Columbia. The contractor shall maintain communication with all action offices until completion of events.
· Assist the appropriate conference management office chief
· Building tracking spreadsheet for conferences.
· Assist with site surveys that evaluate the most cost effective and efficient conference site if required.
· Coordinate with Conference Management Chief for the signature of LOIs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience of event coordination experience preferably military/federal events.
- Good analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with workplace management, space planning, and project tracking systems

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
