Our client, a family-owned food company is looking to hire a Machine Operator in Santa Ana, CA. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery to ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Operate case packer, case erectors and case sealers.
- Hand pack and stack bag product.
- Verify integrity of packaging and product.
- Scale and top off bags as needed.
- Maintain work area in a safe and orderly fashion according to GMP and Safety guidelines.
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have food manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills
- English proficiency; Spanish bilingual preferred.
- Must be available to train in Shift A (5:45 am) or Shift B (12:45pm).
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing up for up to 13 hours.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures, from -30°F to 105°F.
- Capable of handling moderate physical activity such as frequent walking, bending, and reaching.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to engage in a physically demanding role.
Pay and Schedule:
- Must have flexibility for training, OT and weekends
- Shift A - 4:45 AM – 1:00 PM
- Shift B – 12:45 PM – 9:15 PM, OR 11:30 AM – 8:15 PM
- Shift C – 6:30 PM - 3:00 AM, 8:15 PM – 4:45 AM, OR 7:15 PM – 3:45 AM
