Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and payment transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Participate in catering events and banquets, providing beverage service to enhance guest experiences.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and techniques in the beverage industry to enhance sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a bartender or server is preferred.
- Knowledge of various beverage types is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide outstanding hospitality.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local regulations.
