Personnel Placements is now seeking to fill a scale operator position in Kenton, Tn. The Scale Operator is responsible for accurately weighing incoming and outgoing grain trucks and recording the necessary information. This position works closely with truck drivers and facility personnel to help ensure the smooth and efficient movement of grain through the facility.
Essential Duties

Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks using the facility scale system.

Enter truck, load, and weight information into the computer system.
*
Verify paperwork and ensure information is accurate.
*
Communicate with truck drivers regarding loading and unloading procedures.
*
Direct trucks to the appropriate area of the facility when needed.
*
Maintain accurate records of grain deliveries and shipments.
*
Assist with general grain facility operations as needed.
*
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
*
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

Basic computer skills.
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and customer service skills.
*
Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
*
Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
*
Previous grain, agriculture, trucking, warehouse, or scale experience is helpful but not required.
Scale Operator
Pay: $15.50 per hour
Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Additional Hours: Additional hours may be required during busy season and based on business needs.
