Qualified Professional (IDD Services)

We are seeking a Qualified Professional (QP) who is ready to take an active, hands-on leadership role across both residential (respite house, supported living, and AFL homes) and community-based services.
Important Position Expectation
- This role requires residential competency, flexibility, and willingness to assist with residential staffing coverage and operational support when needed.
- Candidates should be comfortable working directly in residential settings, supporting staff, responding to service needs, and helping ensure continuity of care.
- This is not a remote or desk-only case management position. This is a field-based leadership role supporting individuals wherever they live, work, and engage in their communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential operational needs and staffing support as necessary.
- Participate in incident follow-up, service coordination, and problem-solving efforts.
- Ensure compliance with ISP requirements, documentation standards, and NC regulations.
- Conduct in-person visits, observations, and service monitoring in homes and community locations.
- Monitor quality of care and provide coaching/training to staff.
- Collaborate with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and community partners
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience with individuals with IDD.
- Minimum 1 year experience overseeing residential group home services.
- Ability and willingness to work across both residential and community settings on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, registration, and insurance.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Clean background check and professional references.

Would you be comfortable performing these essential duties as part of your role?
- Please describe your experience in a supervisory role, particularly as it relates to overseeing Group Home services. Include details about your responsibilities, the number of staff you supervised, and how you supported Group Home operations.
