Zeigler Auto Group is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Dispatcher to join our high-performing service team. What You'll Do
- Dispatch repair orders to technicians based on skill level, availability, and workload.
- Monitor shop productivity and ensure efficient workflow throughout the day.
- Balance technician assignments to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Service Management.
- Prioritize customer waiters, appointments, and emergency repairs.
- Track repair order progress and help eliminate workflow bottlenecks.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure repair orders are completed properly.
- Assist in achieving department productivity and customer satisfaction goals.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Dispatcher or Service Advisor in a dealership preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and dealership operations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Experience using dealership management systems (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar) is a plus.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and customer satisfaction.
