Pizza Cook / Prep Cook – Local Joe’s Pizza (Vail, CO)
Local Joe’s Pizza is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pizza Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team!
We are a local pizza shop and bar in Vail serving fresh food in a fast-paced, fun environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with a team, takes pride in their work, and can help keep our kitchen running smoothly.
This is a hands-on kitchen position focused on food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean workspace. No chef experience required — we are looking for someone dependable who wants to be part of a great team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and assist with daily prep
- Make pizzas and other menu items
- Follow recipes and portion standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Keep food stations stocked and ready
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Assist with closing and cleaning duties
Schedule:
- Part-Time Position (30–35 hours/week)
- Available shifts:
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Bi-weekly pay
Compensation:
- $20–$24/hour
- No tips
- No benefits
Ideal Candidate:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous kitchen or pizza experience preferred but not required
- Willing to learn and help wherever needed
