We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician (ME Tech) to support production, improve processes, and help drive efficiency in our truck bed and trailer manufacturing operations. This role works closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and maintain production documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the facilities with process improvements and troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and build documentation
- Assist with fixture, jig, and tooling design/improvements
- Interpret and work from prints, drawings, and BOMs
- Help optimize production flow, layout, and ergonomics
- Conduct time studies and efficiency analysis
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve production issues
- Support new product launches and design changes
- Work directly with production teams to improve quality and throughput
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Programming for fab equipment including lasers, robto, bender, brake machines, sheer, etc.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment (metal fabrication preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints
- Strong problem solving and mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working hands on in a shop environment
- Experience with laser operation, programming, fabrication
Preferred Experience
- Welding/Fabrication knowledge (steel & aluminum, preferrably)
- Trailer, ag equipment, or heavy manufacturing background
- ERP/MRP systems experience
- Fixture or tooling design
- Experience with CAD software

- This is a non-exempt, hourly role with potential overtime
