American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position in Oklahoma City requiring at least 1 year of experience, AHA-certified BLS and PALS, and a valid OK or compact RN license.

Pediatric ICU unit in a hospital setting
-
Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)

CVICU and NICU experience is preferred
-
Level 1 trauma experience is required

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — no other issuing bodies accepted

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Level 1 facility experience required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments

Obtains and monitors physiological data, administers medications as prescribed, and manages IV infusions and blood products

Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures

Communicates care plans with patients and families and coordinates referrals to appropriate personnel

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible for a new contract (prior extensions are limited to one time, for a maximum of 26 total weeks)
