About the role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead our projects using a variety of project management methodologies including Agile. This role requires a versatile individual who can adapt to the needs of each project, ensuring efficient delivery while maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both traditional project management principles and Agile practices, able to seamlessly switch between these approaches as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to deadlines and within budget, employing traditional or Agile methodologies
- Coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders to drive accountability throughout project timelines.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential concerns or issues, and devise contingency plans.
- Adopt and apply best practices in project management, including risk management, quality assurance, and change management.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of Project Management experience
- Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting teamwork
- Proven experience in project management, including traditional and/or Agile methodologies.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience leading software development projects in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM) and/or Agile methodologies (CSM, ACP) is highly desirable.
